A man from Ghana, named Ebo Jesus, has captured the attention of millions across the internet after announcing that he’s building several arks to survive an anticipated global flood he claims will begin on Christmas Day.
Known also as Ebo Noah, his ark-building venture has sparked widespread conversation, especially with his videos, which have garnered millions of views on social media platforms.
The Vision Behind the Arks
The 30-year-old Ebo shared his belief in a divine vision he claims to have received from God, which predicts a catastrophic rainfall lasting three years, starting on December 25.
In a YouTube video posted in August, titled “What will happen and how it will happen,” Ebo described how God revealed this impending disaster to him.
As part of his plan, Ebo aims to live on the arks he’s building during this supposed flood.
His ambitious project involves constructing multiple boats, which he hopes will be ready in time for the predicted flooding.
Despite the lack of any scientific evidence to support the theory of global flooding, Ebo continues to build his vessels, documenting the progress through numerous social media clips.
In many of these videos, Ebo shows off the boats and building materials, with viewers following along as the construction unfolds.
His social media presence has helped attract a substantial following, but it has also sparked intense debate.
The Size of Ebo's Arks vs. Noah’s Ark
While Ebo's arks are central to his mission, there’s an obvious difference between these boats and the legendary Noah’s Ark described in the Bible.
According to biblical descriptions, Noah’s Ark was a colossal vessel, measuring about 510 feet in length, 85 feet in width, and 51 feet in height.
The boats that Ebo is building, however, appear much smaller, leading many to question how they would hold up against a flood that lasts for three years.
In his videos, Ebo shows smaller boats and even alludes to the possibility of building several more to ensure safety during the flood.
However, critics have pointed out that the vessels seem too small to endure such a long-lasting and potentially destructive event.
The Lack of a Scientific Basis for the Flood
There’s no credible weather forecast or scientific evidence suggesting that the Earth will experience any such catastrophic flooding on December 25 or any time soon.
Despite this, a portion of the social media community continues to support Ebo’s efforts.
Some individuals have rallied behind the idea, sharing words of encouragement and admiration for his dedication to the project.
However, experts and critics alike are quick to highlight that there is no historical or meteorological data supporting Ebo’s claims.
The scientific consensus remains firm that such an event is not in the realm of possibility.
Biblical Contradiction: A Flood That Won't Happen Again
A significant counterpoint to Ebo’s prediction comes directly from the Bible.
Genesis 9:11 explicitly states that God promised Noah that the Earth would never again be flooded to the extent that it was during the biblical flood.
The verse reads: “I will establish My covenant with you: Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”
This promise contradicts Ebo’s assertion that the Earth will soon face another devastating flood.
Hopefully, you are getting an umbrella for Christmas!
